If you enjoy having a piece of your favorite video games on your shelf, God of War: Laufey has an edition that’s sure to catch your eye. PlayStation has unveiled its collector’s edition, which includes an illuminated statue, an illustrated card deck, and a physical art book.
The curious thing is that this edition doesn’t include the game. So before rushing to reserve it, there are several details you should know, especially if you’re thinking of getting it before it sells out.
What’s included in the God of War: Laufey collector’s edition?
The collector’s edition has an announced price of 149.99 euros and includes three physical items designed for fans and collectors.
A 20-centimeter illuminated statue
The most striking item is a 20 cm statue depicting Faye, Phranque, and Rue fighting the soldiers of Begtse.
The special feature is the lighting: Phranque can light up when the figure is connected to a USB power source. It’s the kind of piece that can become the center of attention in any gaming collection.
A 51-card oracle deck
The box also includes 51 cards with custom illustrations by Megan Lara. These pieces represent different elements of the journey through the universe of Everywhen and add an artistic touch that goes beyond typical promotional items.
A mini physical art book
To complete the package, Santa Monica Studio has selected concept art of characters, creatures, and landscapes from the game. An opportunity to take a look at the artwork behind this new adventure.
How much does it cost and where can you preorder it?
The collector’s edition costs 149.99 euros and can be preordered through the official PlayStation Store.
According to the published information, preorders opened on October 13, 2026, and will be available while supplies last. Its availability at other stores has not yet been confirmed.
Important: the collector’s edition does not include the video game, so you’ll have to buy it separately.
God of War: Laufey will also have Standard and Deluxe editions
If you’d rather buy the game with additional content, here are the other announced options:
- Standard Edition — 79.99 €: includes the base game, the “Last Wish” armor set, the “Phranque’s Golden Leaves” appearance, and a resource pack.
- Digital Deluxe Edition — 89.99 €: adds the “Dark Alchemy” armor set, a sword, bow upgrades, a catalyst, a digital mini art book, and the official soundtrack.
The difference between the two is 10 euros, so the Deluxe Edition may appeal to those who want to enjoy the digital extras.
Is the collector’s edition worth it?
If you’re a God of War collector, the illuminated statue and illustrated cards are the standout items. However, keep in mind that the 149.99 euros covers only the physical items, not the game.
Ultimately, the decision depends on how much you value the franchise’s exclusive content and artwork.
